D-Biotin, also called Vitamin H, is a colorless, water-soluble member of the group of B-vitamins.
Formerly it was known as vitamin H or coenzyme R. It has many benefits for the hair, skin, and nails.
It is composed of a ureido ring fused with a tetrahydrothiophene ring. A valeric acid substituent is attached
to one of the carbon atoms of the tetrahydrothiophene ring. Biotin is a coenzyme for carboxylase enzymes,
involved in the synthesis of fatty acids, isoleucine, and valine, and in gluconeogenesis.
Subclinical deficiency of Biotin can cause mild symptoms, such as hair thinning or skin rash typically on the face.
Thus, This product is recommended for general food fortification and dietary supplement applications.
Generally, D-Biotin can be used for baby food and dietetics, for solid and liquid pharmaceutical preparations,
for cosmetic preparations, and for use in the fermentation industry.

D-BIOTIN (VITAMIN B7)
D-biotin, better known as vitamin B7, boosts fat burning in the body, supports digestion and puts you in a good mood. Biotin acts like a coenzyme in the body and is used for the metabolism of fatty acids, amino acids and glucose. This means that when we eat foods that contain fats, proteins and carbohydrates, biotin must be present so that these macronutrients can be converted. This allows them to be used for body energy, physical activities and brain functions. Research suggests that it is primarily the combination of biotin and the essential trace element chromium, which is also contained in our products, that permanently lowers the blood sugar level.
Biotin is also considered to be the ultimate beauty vitamin because it supports the body in staying young and attractive by playing a central role in maintaining beautiful, healthy hair, nails and skin. If the body is not supplied with sufficient biotin, it will not be able to produce the protein keratin. Vitamins are organic molecules (or a set of closely related molecules called vitamers) that are essential to an organism in small quantities for proper metabolic function.
