S-Acetyl-L-glutathione is a derivative of glutathione and a potent antioxidant and cell protectant.
Glutathione is a peptide composed of three amino acids, including glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine.
In S-acetyl-L-glutathione, the hydroxyl group (OH) of glutathione is replaced by an acetyl group (CH3CO).
S-acetyl-L-glutathione has some advantages over regular glutathione.It has better stability and solubility
and is easier to be absorbed by cells.Due to the presence of the acetyl group, S-acetyl-L-glutathione can
more easily enter cells and be converted into regular glutathione within the cell.
S-acetyl-L-glutathione has certain application value in the fields of medicine and health.It is believed to
enhance the antioxidant capacity of cells, reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory responses, and may
have a positive impact on improving cell health and protecting organ function.Some research also suggests
