What is Griffonia Seed Extract?

Griffonia Seed extract is a natural supplement which is derived from the Griffonia simplicifolia plant.

This plant is a woody climbing shrub native to West and Central Africa. It can grow to as much as 3 meters in height and bears black seed pods.

5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) is a naturally plant-derived amino acid that is extracted from the seed of the Griffonia simplicifolia plant. As the immediate precursor to Serotonin, 5-HTP converts directly into Serotonin in your brain.
